Motorhome Rental Malaga

The city of Malaga is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Spain. British, German and other European visitors flock to its beautiful beaches during the summer months, but the city has also managed to preserve its old town, which together with an incredible commercial and catering infrastructure makes visiting the city a pleasure for anyone with a motorhome rental in Malaga.

The Alcazaba of Malaga Cathedral or the Gibralfaro Castle are monuments that any history lover can enjoy. As the birthplace of painter Pablo Picasso, you can visit his museum to see his paintings and learn about his life, and then go for a walk along Calle Larios, the liveliest place in the city.

Getting to Malaga

Malaga is located in Andalusia, in the south of Spain, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. To get to Malaga by road you can come from the east and south on the A-7 freeway, while the AP-46 is the one that leads to the city from the north, towards Madrid. If you decide to hire a motorhome in Malaga, you will be well connected to different towns and even to other cities.

Malaga airport is located just 20 minutes from the city centre, and it is served by airlines like Vueling or Iberia for domestic flights. The large influx of international tourists means that you can also find international flights at the airport. The Malaga Maria Zambrano Train Station is the main train station in the city and is operated by the company Renfe, as well as being the place where the commuter trains arrive in Malaga.

Malaga is a fairly busy city throughout the year, so free parking in the city is usually quite scarce. However, it is possible to park for free in places as central as Guillén Sotelo street or Carretería street. Another very good place to park is Barrio El Ejido. The price of parking per day is usually around €15.00. Malaga also has blue zone parking in many streets, with a price of €1.00 per hour.
