Campervan and Motorhome Rental in Nevada

Nevada's beautiful, untouched nature and sweeping landscapes have long lived in the shadow of the bright lights of Las Vegas . Explorers who want to discover the true meaning of the "open road" will relish the experience of discovering all Nevada has to offer when they rent a campervan or motorhome.

Majestic mountains provide adventure seekers with many climbing opportunities. You can also head underground by exploring the many caves throughout the area's famous red rock formations and gorges, like Great Basin National Park, Lovelock, and Lehman Caves.

Some of Nevada's most popular attractions include the Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and Lake Tahoe, but there's, even more, to discover when you rent a campervan or motorhome. Go beyond the major tourist points to wherever the road takes you.

National Parks in Nevada

Hoover Dam is one of the most iconic structures in the United States. It is located on the border between Arizona and Nevada on the Colorado River. The area around the Dam includes Lake Mead National Recreation Area, which has 1,450 miles of shoreline and is a great place to go hiking, fishing, or boating. You need a fishing licence to do so, which you can apply for here .

In addition to the many beautiful parks and outdoor experiences within the state, you also have access to some of the country’s most iconic National Parks from Nevada, including Zion National Park, the Grand Canyon, and Yosemite. Many people choose to rent campervans or motorhomes to visit these National Parks as they make their way to Los Angeles.

Located in the middle of the state, Valley of Fire State Park is the perfect backdrop for outdoor enthusiasts. This scenic park features an abundance of red rock formations formed by volcanic activity thousands of years ago. Popular activities in the park include hiking and exploring sandstone formations, as well as visiting petroglyph sites and watching the sunset over the desert landscape.

Nevada Lakes

Lake Tahoe is a picturesque lake located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California and Nevada and is a fantastic area to explore in a campervan or motorhome. It was formed when a glacier covered the area millions of years ago and is now one of the country’s most popular vacation destinations. Visitors can hike along the shore of the lake or take a ferry across the water for a day trip to Emerald Bay State Park, and even continue north to Sequoia National Park. Water sports such as skiing, kayaking, jet skiing, and more are also available on the lake.

Campgrounds Around Nevada

Nevada is as rich with campgrounds as the state is filled with exciting outdoor destinations. Those visiting Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam can consider Canyon Trail RV Park, which is a full-service park with amenities like a dog run, swimming pool, laundry, and more.

If you’re stopping in the Las Vegas area, you can make a stop in your campervan or motorhome at Oasis Las Vegas. Wagon Wheels is another good option for those making their way in their campervan to Lake Tahoe.

Pyramid Lake State Park is one of the most popular camping destinations in Nevada. The park is located on the east side of Pyramid Lake and has a wide variety of accommodations and activities for visitors to enjoy.

Cathedral Gorge State Park is another gorgeous destination for campervan and motorhome rental in Nevada. It covers nearly 1,800 acres and features spectacular rock formations and vibrant spring wildflower displays.

Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest is home to several campgrounds for visitors to the area. These campgrounds offer hiking opportunities along the forest’s trails and scenic mountain vistas.
