Campervan and Motorhome Rental in Arizona

Arizona is the perfect place to embark on a legendary American road trip. Rent a campervan or motorhome in Arizona and discover painted deserts, saguaro cactus forests, and twisting canyons all at your fingertips.

Within its borders, Arizona has three stunning national parks and is a state rich in culture, history, and wilderness. Gaze into the depths of the magnificent Grand Canyon, or marvel at the desert from the snow-capped mountain tops of the Harquahala mountain range.

Beginning your campervan or motorhome journey in Arizona promises an adventure that will leave you enchanted by the American West.

National Parks in Arizona

It is a little-known fact that Arizona was once a tropical swampland with rushing rivers and lush foliage. Now, the footprints of that once fertile paradise can be found in all three of Arizona's desert national parks.

Admire the striking red, yellow, and purple colours of the earth's crust as you descend a mile below the surface into the heart of the Grand Canyon. Stroll through the petrified remnants of an ancient forest at Petrified Forest National Park and get lost as you saunter through towering saguaro cacti in Saguaro National Park.

Beginning your adventure from Arizona will also put you in the perfect position to explore the other seven iconic national parks of the American Southwest. Among them are Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Mesa Verde, Joshua Tree, and Kings Canyon National Park. Whether you choose to add one or all of them to your campervan itinerary, you are sure to be amazed by the treasures hidden within each one.

Lakes, Rivers, Coastline in Arizona

Arizona has several beautiful lakes and rivers within its borders. Lake Powell, the largest body of water west of the Mississippi, has beautiful sand beaches, several hiking trails, and plenty of water activities to keep you cool and entertained.

We also recommend that you go for a picnic at Rose Canyon Lake or discover the rugged oasis that is Watson Lake, just north of Phoenix. Lake Pleasant and Apache Lake are two other refreshing options that offer plenty of swimming, fishing, and hiking.

If you choose to rent a campervan or motorhome in Arizona, you will be only a few hours from the dazzling California beaches. Along the way to the Golden Coast, you will pass by some of the most spectacular road trip destinations . From national parks to stunning desert landscapes and some of the best beaches America has to offer.

Campgrounds Across Arizona

Having the perfect campsite to watch the vivid desert sunsets is essential when travelling through Arizona. For the most spectacular views, we recommend you check out Dead Horse Ranch Campground, Roadrunner Campground, and Rose Canyon Campground. Both Grand Canyon and Saguaro National Park offer campervan accommodating campsites for you to park at as well.

During peak seasons, national and state park camping spots fill up quickly, so we recommend calling ahead to make reservations in places that allow it or arriving early or on weekdays at sites that operate on a first come, first served basis.

Between the captivating canyons, enchanting desert, and rich culture, Arizona promises to make every day of your Great American Road Trip unforgettable. Rent a campervan or motorhome in Arizona and discover what the American Southwest has waiting for you.
